Ingredients (for 4 to 6 persons):
- 8 to 10 Roma tomatoes
- 3 carrots
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 onion
- 1 can tomato puree
- Fresh basil
- Fresh thyme
- 2 pieces vegetable stock
- Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation of creamy tomato soup:
- Clean the vegetables and cut them into pieces. Cut the carrots into slices of about 1 cm, peel the onion and garlic and chop them finely. Cut the tomatoes into cubes.
- Heat a dash of olive oil in a pan and fry the onion and carrot on medium heat for about 4 minutes. Then add the garlic, tomato puree, basil and thyme and fry for 2 minutes.
- Finally, add the tomato cubes. Let this fry for another 2 minutes and then add 750 ml of water and the vegetable stock cubes to the pan. Bring to the boil and let the mixture simmer gently for 10 to 15 minutes with the lid on the pan.
- Remove the soup from the heat and puree it with a hand blender until it is smooth. If necessary, put the soup back on the heat and season with salt and pepper or other herbs of your choice.
