Ingredients (serves 2) Pasta with Tomato and Burrata

150 g pasta of your choice

400 g cherry tomatoes

180 g honey tomatoes

80 g sun-dried tomatoes

2 cloves of garlic

A pinch of chilli flakes

2 balls of burrata

Optional: pine nuts

How to prepare Pasta with Tomato and Burrata

1. Cook the pasta

Bring a pan of water to the boil and cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packaging.

2. Roast the pine nuts (optional)

Want an extra crunch? Roast the pine nuts in a dry pan until lightly browned.

3. Prepare the tomato sauce

  • Finely chop the garlic.
  • Heat a dash of olive oil in a deep pan and fry the garlic with the chili flakes.
  • Add the cherry tomatoes (whole) and fry for a few minutes.
  • Add a little pasta water to the tomatoes and flatten them as soon as they become soft. This will create a delicious, fresh sauce.

4. Add the remaining tomatoes

  • Cut the honey tomatoes in half and finely chop the sun-dried tomatoes.
  • Add both to the sauce and let simmer for a few minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper.

5. Mix the pasta with the sauce

Drain the pasta and mix it well with the tomato sauce, so that every bite is full of flavor.

6. Serve with burrata and toppings

Divide the pasta over the plates, place the burrata on top and sprinkle with roasted pine nuts if desired.

Tip: Sprinkle with a dash of olive oil and some fresh basil for an extra flavor boost!
