Ingredients: Mackerel salad of smoked mackerel on bread

  • 100g smoked mackerel (boneless)
  • 50g Greek yoghurt
  • Fresh dill, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • Optional: 1 gherkin, finely chopped

Preparation method: Mackerel salad with smoked mackerel on bread

  • Toast the slices of sourdough bread until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • In the meantime, mix the smoked mackerel with the Greek yoghurt, pepper, salt and fresh dill. Stir everything well until you have a creamy salad.
  • Top the toasted bread with the mackerel salad. Garnish with some extra fresh dill if desired.
  • Serving tip: Also delicious with a few slices of radish!
