These homemade Snickers are made with natural ingredients such as dates, peanut butter and dark chocolate. They are not only nutritious, but also super tasty.

Why Healthy Snickers?

Traditional Snickers are full of refined sugars and artificial additives. This healthy version contains:
Dates as a natural sweetener and source of fiber.
Peanut butter for healthy fats and proteins.
Dark chocolate (min. 70%) rich in antioxidants.
Nuts for a crunchy bite and extra nutrients.

Ingredients:

  • 12 pitted dates
  • 12 teaspoons 100% peanut butter
  • 125 grams dark chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavor
  • Sea salt

Preparation:

  1. Pit the dates (if necessary) by making a small incision in each date. Remove the pit and fill the cavity with a teaspoon of peanut butter.
  2. Place the filled dates in the freezer for 30 to 45 minutes to firm up.
  3. Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave. Add the vanilla aroma to the melted chocolate and stir well.
  4. Remove the dates from the freezer and roll them one by one in the melted chocolate.
  5. Place the chocolate-covered dates on a plate or baking sheet lined with baking paper. Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt.
  6. The filled dates in the refrigerator and let the chocolate harden completely.
