Ingredients for 1 portion of carrot cake oatmeal:
- 100g grated carrot
- 40g oatmeal
- 5g chia seeds
- 200-300ml almond milk
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- Handful of walnuts
- Optional: honey and ½ apple
How to make it:
- Heat 200 ml almond milk in a saucepan together with the oats, chia seeds, grated carrot, cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Bring to the boil and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the protein powder and stir everything well. Add extra almond milk if necessary until the desired consistency is reached.
- Put the oats in a bowl and top with finely chopped walnuts, honey and apple pieces.
Tip for colder days: Bake your apple in a separate pan with some cinnamon and honey for an extra warm and cozy touch!
