Ingredients for 1 portion of carrot cake oatmeal:

  • 100 grams grated carrot
  • 40 grams oat flakes
  • 5 grams of chia seeds
  • 200 to 300 ml almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Handful of walnuts
  • Optional: honey and ½ apple

How are you:

  1. Heat 200 ml almond milk in a pan together with the oatmeal, chia seeds, grated carrot, cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Bring to the boil and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the protein powder and stir everything well. Add additional almond milk if necessary until desired consistency is reached.
  3. Place the oatmeal in a bowl and top with finely chopped walnuts, honey and apple pieces.

Tip for colder days: Bake your apple in a separate pan with some cinnamon and honey for an extra warm and cozy touch!
